About Me
KhaDashia McMillian was born and raised in Charleston, South Carolina. She is the oldest of four children. She spent most of her time working and helping her mother and grandmother with her younger siblings. She graduated from Garrett Academy of Technology in 2016. She moved to Beaufort South Carolina shortly after high school where she continued her education at the University of South Carolina Beaufort in Bluffton, South Carolina. She graduated in May of 2020 as an honors graduate in Human Services. KhaDashia has always had a passion for helping others. She spent all four of her college years volunteering in the Beaufort area. She likes to stay busy so she spends most of her time working. She likes to spend her free time with some of her close friends eating and relaxing. KhaDashia believes that her purpose in life is helping others in anyway possible. Her accomplishments over the years have consisted of working with America Corps and the United WY if the Lowcountry in Bluffton in their Read Indeed program in local elementary schools, being the president of the Human Services Student Organization on her college campus, mentoring 25 college freshman on her college campus, an active assistant with the Beaufort County Foster Parents Association, a member of the National Honors Society of Leadership and Success and the Chi Nu Chapter of the Tau Upsilon Alpha National Organization for Human Services Honor Society, Outstanding Student of the Year Award in Human Services for the 2019-2020 school year.
