ANTHONY “RUSSELL” CANNICK
Anthony’s career with RCI is not his first. He joined the Real Champions Team in 2020 after retiring from a career of 25 years with Beaufort/Jasper Water and Sewer. Although born in New York, Anthony’s life has centered around the South Carolina Lowcounty. He is an alumnus of Ridgeland High School and has continually invested in his community of Jasper County for over 30 years through activism, serving as a member of the election board, and coaching little league football. Although he has mentored many youth during those years, Anthony has maintained a strong bond with each and every one of the children and families with whom he has worked. He believes in what we do at Real Champions because he knows that as an Advocate Mentor, he can positively impact the lives of his mentees and help them to become thriving, successful adults. He is proud to be part of “staying longer” in their lives and helping them reach a brighter future.
Anthony and his beautiful wife Inett have been married for over 35 years and have two sons.
