Therese has not always lived in the Lowcountry. Originally from Lowell, Massachusetts, she then made her way to the community of Tewksbury, MA, before travelling down the coast to South Carolina. Raised in the county that gave rise to American literary greats such as Ralph Waldo Emerson and Henry Wadsworth Longfellow, Therese cherishes family and traditions. She understands how invaluable your childhood story is to your identity in adulthood.

Perhaps this is what first inspired her to contribute her expertise and life experiences to the RCI Team. Therese’s credentials include an Associate’s degree in Business Administration (New Hampshire College, 2001) and a Bachelor’s in Management (Southern New Hampshire University, 2003) as well as over eight years of experience in corporate management, human resources, and entrepreneurship. Therese believes in the work of RCI because she knows first-hand how essential a positive role model is in a child’s life. Young people need to feel that there are others in the world who care about their future and are committed to making it the best future possible.
